Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time remote Compliance Specialist will navigate regulatory requirements, support bank partnerships, and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance within a fast-growing FinTech company.

Key responsibilities

• Support bank partnerships by attending meetings and assisting with testing, audits, and compliance reporting requirements
• Coordinate internal and external reviews of marketing assets to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Conduct routine testing of first-line defense controls to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory support within fintech or financial services
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and internal controls
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple compliance activities
• Proficiency in productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with strong skills in spreadsheets
