Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time remote Compliance Specialist will work with the Director of Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational policies, conduct audits, facilitate training, and manage compliance-related investigations and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Compliance program plan and evaluation
- Conduct audits and assess compliance with internal and external regulations, identifying areas for improvement
- Facilitate training and develop educational materials to enhance staff knowledge on compliance and confidentiality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
- Experience with compliance programs and regulatory standards, particularly in healthcare
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
- Ability to conduct audits and prepare detailed reports
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs for staff
