Compliance Specialist Certification Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Specialist to support compliance programs and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and gather information for compliance reviews and audits, collaborating with management to resolve identified weaknesses
• Monitor regulatory guidance and assess the impact of new regulations on the organization, advising management on compliance risks
• Review marketing promotions and documents for regulatory compliance and assist with updates to consumer disclosures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• 1+ years of experience in a compliance role within the financial industry is required
• Ability to obtain compliance certification within the first 18 months of employment is required
• Working knowledge of compliance-related laws and regulations specific to credit unions is required
• Proven organizational abilities to promote the effectiveness of the Compliance Management Program is required
