Compliance Team Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Compliance Team Lead for a full-time remote position, responsible for executing compliance engagements with clients, developing internal frameworks, and mentoring junior staff while maintaining direct ownership of client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute compliance engagements for clients, managing delivery from kickoff through audit readiness
• Develop and maintain client-facing policies, procedures, and control documentation while refining internal compliance frameworks
• Mentor junior compliance staff, supporting their development while directly engaging in client responsibilities

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and/or PCI DSS compliance engagements
• Proven ability to independently manage compliance engagements from scoping to audit preparation
• Experience in a managed services or consulting environment
• Strong writing skills for developing information security policies and audit evidence packages
• Familiarity with GRC platforms such as IntelliGRC, Drata, or similar tools
