Compliance & Trust Lead

Job Summary

Experienced compliance professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Compliance & Trust Lead, responsible for managing and maturing the compliance program, acting as the primary contact for security-related inquiries, and running the risk management program to ensure security and privacy standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and extend Linear's compliance program, maintaining SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications while automating evidence collection
• Serve as the primary point of contact for security questionnaires and customer trust reviews, transforming compliance processes into competitive advantages
• Run the risk management program by identifying emerging risks and collaborating with teams to drive remediation efforts

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in compliance and customer trust, preferably in a B2B SaaS or developer tools environment
• Deep hands-on experience with SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and knowledge of privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA
• Proven ability to design scalable compliance processes and utilize tools like Vanta or Drata
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering, legal, and customers
• Comfortable operating with significant autonomy and setting priorities independently
