Component Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Rotatable Plug Assembly Component Design Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design reactor structures and components based on requirements and specifications
• Coordinate inputs and requirements from engineering and project teams to develop equipment and component designs
• Perform scoping analysis and calculations for different design options

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of four years of equipment or component design experience; relevant M.S. degree credited as two years of experience
• Experience working with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III
• Experience writing design specifications
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
