Component Design Engineer (RPA)

Job Summary

Component Design Engineer (RPA), a contract position focused on creating design solutions for reactor structures and components in a remote setting, requiring extensive experience in equipment design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design reactor structures and components from initial requirements to final design
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project teams to develop design solutions
• Present design results and assess technical merit during design reviews

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of four years of equipment/component design experience; relevant M.S. degree credited as two years of experience
• Working experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Familiarity with CAD, with SolidWorks preferred
