Compositor IATSE 839

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Compositor IATSE 839 will be responsible for the final composite and output of animated scenes, including lighting, rendering, and digital touch-ups using After Effects, while collaborating closely with the production team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform lighting, rendering, and compositing in After Effects based on client and director concepts
• Execute digital touch-ups and paint to finalize composites as art/illustrations
• Collaborate with the Lead Compositor and other team members to establish key looks and share setups

Required qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Animation or a related field preferred
• Extensive knowledge and experience with After Effects; experience with Toon Boom Harmony is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Shotgun and Photoshop
• Ability to work independently with commercial and proprietary lighting, rendering, and compositing tools
• Knowledge and experience with Effects/FX skills are a plus
