Job Summary
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the contract Interaction Developer, Computation Layer Specialist will support lesson development by applying scripting to create engaging K-12 interactions, identify and rectify performance issues, and enhance accessibility features, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support lesson developers by applying medium to high complexity scripting and brainstorming new interaction prototypes
- Identify and resolve bugs, edge cases, and performance issues in activities, optimizing scripts for correctness and user experience
- Develop interactions requiring extensive Computation Layer programming and apply accessibility features to digital curriculum materials
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience teaching in K-12 classrooms
- Basic proficiency with Computation Layer, including understanding sinks, sources, and conditional logic
- Alignment to team and company values around technology, design, pedagogy, accessibility, and equity
- 5+ years of experience teaching Math in K-12 classrooms (preferred)
