Computational Biologist

Job Summary

Joining the Technical Support team within Customer Experience, the full-time Computational Biologist will support data analysis for spatial biology platforms, assist with customer inquiries, and provide training for both internal teams and external users.

Key responsibilities

• Support data analysis workflows and tools for spatial biology platforms
• Respond to technical inquiries and assist with data quality issues across transcriptomics and proteomics workflows
• Provide training and troubleshooting support for internal and external users

Required qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or related field; or B.S. with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience analyzing high-dimensional omics datasets using bioinformatics and statistical methods
• Proficiency in R; familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus
• Basic domain knowledge in a relevant biological area (e.g., oncology, immunology)
• Ability to communicate scientific findings to diverse audiences
