Computational Biologist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Computational Biologist will build and evaluate AI agent systems to automate biological discovery and clinical development while collaborating with leading R&D organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Improving LLM agents' ability to execute complex, data-driven discovery tasks in scientific environments
• Designing benchmarks to evaluate LLM agent performance and acceptance criteria for scientific tasks
• Partnering with scientists to apply AI agents for novel discoveries in biology and serving as the scientific authority on AI-generated findings

Required qualifications

• PhD in biological science or equivalent professional experience
• Familiarity with the regulatory and compliance landscape in pharma or biotech research
• Experience analyzing complex biological data, with a first-author publication
• Deep expertise in one area of mammalian biology and ability to develop fluency in adjacent domains
• Hands-on experience with LLM and agentic AI tools in a biological research context
