Computational Linguist

Job Summary

To support a growing R&D team, the part-time Computational Linguist will evaluate and support Generative and Agentic AI systems, design annotation workflows, and analyze model performance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and refine annotation workflows and internal documentation for AI systems
• Prototype task-specific evaluation metrics and analyze performance using real-world data
• Collaborate cross-functionally with researchers and annotators to develop scalable evaluation processes

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computational Linguistics, NLP, Linguistics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in NLP or AI projects
• At least one year of experience with Generative AI and/or Agentic AI
• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with NLP libraries
• Experience using and fine-tuning transformer-based language models
