Computational Scientist in Genetics

A company is looking for a Computational Scientist specializing in Human Genetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientists to analyze large datasets of genetic, genomic, and clinical data
• Develop analytical approaches to integrate and interpret data for insights into disease biology
• Document processes and findings, and present results to the department and collaborators

Required Qualifications

• PhD or Masters with significant experience in a relevant field
• Proficient in programming with R and Python
• Solid knowledge of command line interface (Bash)
• Experience with biobank data and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Familiarity with workflow management systems such as WDL or Nextflow
