Job Summary
Computational Thermal Hydraulics Analyst, a full-time remote contract position requiring extensive experience in nuclear thermal-hydraulic analysis and computational methods to support reactor core methodology development and design evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct computational analysis of in-core steady-state thermal hydraulic phenomena
- Perform code benchmarking and validation analyses for code qualification and methodology development
- Support the development of testing programs for reactor core and components
Required Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, or relevant Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. degree, or 6+ years with an M.S., or 3+ years with a Ph.D
- 6+ years' experience in Nuclear Systems Thermal-Hydraulic behavior and analyses; experience in 1D modeling preferred
- Demonstrated expertise with CAD modeling tools; SolidWorks preferred
- Proficiency with a modern CFD tool; STAR-CCM+ knowledge preferred
