Compute Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Computer Architect to lead the compute platform architecture and technical delivery for a new data center.

Key Responsibilities

• Define target-state compute architecture and build standards aligned to operational requirements
• Design and guide the implementation of virtualization and management stack components
• Lead capacity and performance engineering, including sizing and growth modeling

Required Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in compute/virtualization architecture with experience in new data center builds or large infrastructure migrations
• Deep expertise in VMware vSphere/VCF, including cluster design and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of server hardware standards and performance tuning
• Experience in defining capacity models and operational standards
• Ability to lead cross-team delivery and communicate with engineering and operations stakeholders
