Compute Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Managing license scheduling policies, the full-time Compute Platform Engineer will optimize resource prioritization and improve engineering productivity while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage license scheduling policy, including project shares and distribution policies
- Model license demand against entitlement to support procurement negotiations
- Build telemetry systems for license utilization analysis and partner with CAD teams to align business priorities
Required qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years in EDA compute, HPC, or a similar environment with licensed resources
- Experience with commercial license managers and troubleshooting checkout behavior
- Knowledge of batch schedulers and the interaction between license and job states
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and reporting
