Computer Science Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated Course Instructor for Computer Science, the part-time faculty member will conduct 8-week online courses, engage actively with students, provide feedback, and support retention efforts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assigned courses through the learning management system and maintain active student engagement
• Provide personalized feedback on student submissions and maintain accurate grading reports
• Participate in retention efforts by reporting on student engagement and supporting university assessment initiatives

Required qualifications

• Completed Doctorate in Computer Science or Information Technology from a regionally accredited university
• Minimum of three years of industry experience within the last ten years
• At least two years of higher education teaching experience
• 18 graduate credit hours in the program discipline
• Proficiency in online teaching tools and remote work capabilities
