Computer Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support NAVSUP's AWS GovCloud environment, the full-time salaried Computer Systems Engineer will install, configure, and sustain the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and/or Informatica, focusing on developing secure APIs for data integration and collaboration with various mission partners.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and/or Informatica components, ensuring secure communication with AWS GovCloud services
- Design and deploy REST APIs and Mule applications to facilitate secure data exchange between NAVSUP and mission-partner systems
- Implement API lifecycle management practices, including governance, authentication, and error handling, while maintaining documentation and operational support
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field preferred
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and/or Informatica in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API gateways, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
- Experience with automated deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control
- Current DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II baseline certification required at the start of performance
