Computer Vision Engineer

Job Summary

As a remote Computer Vision Engineer, the successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of critical Safety AI initiatives, focusing on real-time perception systems that operate across millions of edge devices while driving the technical roadmap for edge and cloud perception.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end computer vision pipelines for safety detection, including object detection, tracking, and multi-camera fusion
• Drive the optimization and deployment of models on constrained hardware without sacrificing accuracy
• Mentor and technically guide senior scientists and engineers, translating customer needs into engineering challenges

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Vision, or a related quantitative field
• 10+ years of experience as a scientist or ML engineer with a focus on end-to-end AI systems in production
• Deep expertise in computer vision, including object detection, tracking, and segmentation
• Experience with multimodal perception and sensor fusion technologies
• Proven ability to drive systems from research through production deployment, ensuring performance optimization at scale
