Computer Vision Scientist

Job Summary

To develop and deploy cutting-edge machine learning and computer vision solutions, the remote contract Computer Vision Scientist will design, train, and optimize models for agricultural and biological imaging data while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy advanced computer vision models for object detection, image classification, and segmentation using multimodal datasets
• Implement machine learning workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, for production-ready applications and real-time inference
• Write maintainable Python code and develop scalable cloud-native architectures for high-volume image processing

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in developing computer vision and machine learning systems
• Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV and cloud technologies such as Docker and AWS
• Strong understanding of machine learning model development and deployment practices
