Job Summary
To support customer satisfaction in a remote environment, the full-time Concierge Customer Service Representative II will manage inquiries related to health benefits, negotiate with providers, and assist members with healthcare questions while documenting interactions in the system.
Key responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards
- Negotiate with providers for acceptance of plans without network agreements and assist with precertification calls
- Document all interactions in the system-based call log and verify patient and provider information as needed
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role
- Associate degree or higher preferred, or a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D
- Proficient with Microsoft applications and strong computer navigation skills
- Knowledge of provider organizations, networks, and CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
- Experience in medical intake or related fields is a plus
