Condo Project Underwriter

Job Summary

To support the development of a dedicated Condo Desk, the full-time salaried Condo Project Underwriter will establish standardized operations, monitor the condo desk pipeline, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Establish standardized condo desk operations and workflows for evaluating condominium documentation
• Monitor the Condo Desk Pipeline to ensure timely processing of requests and resolve any documentation issues
• Perform preliminary eligibility screening and issue condo approval certificates or denials for final underwriting decisions

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Underwriting, specifically with condo review/underwriting
• Experience using Encompass software
• Strong understanding of federal and state guidelines
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
