Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Mortgage Condo Desk Underwriter will assess condominium project documentation for eligibility and compliance with agency and investor guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Reviewing condo questionnaires, budgets, insurance, legal documents, and project approvals in collaboration with operations, sales, and underwriting teams
• Ensuring timely and accurate underwriting decisions based on project assessments
• Utilizing strong analytical skills to evaluate risk and compliance within the mortgage industry

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of previous condo project review experience required
• Expert-level knowledge of condo project reviews and underwriting standards
• Strong understanding of risk assessment in the mortgage industry
