Condo Underwriter

Job Summary

Responsible for reviewing documentation for condominium and cooperative projects, the full-time remote Condo Underwriter will ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA while managing project files and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite condominium and cooperative projects accurately and timely
• Manage approved and declined project lists, including expiration dates and lender concentration
• Perform legal reviews and ensure projects meet agency guidelines

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of project review experience
• 5+ years related to mortgage credit guidelines, policies, and procedures
• 5 years of experience with FNMA, Freddie Mac, and FHA underwriting guidelines
• Experience with investor guidelines
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/VA regulations
