Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time remote Mortgage Condo Desk Underwriter will review and assess condominium project documentation to ensure compliance with agency and investor guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing condo questionnaires, budgets, insurance, legal documents, and project approvals while collaborating with operations, sales, and underwriting teams
- Assessing eligibility and compliance of condo projects in accordance with underwriting standards
- Utilizing strong analytical skills to make timely and accurate decisions in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of previous condo project review experience required
- Expert-level knowledge of condo project reviews and underwriting standards
- Strong understanding of risk assessment within the mortgage industry
