Condo Underwriter

Job Summary

To support the development of a dedicated Condo Desk, the full-time Condo Project Underwriter will manage workflows and procedures for evaluating condominium documentation, ensuring project eligibility, and serving as a key resource throughout the condo review process in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish standardized condo desk operations and monitor the Condo Desk Pipeline for timely processing of requests
• Order and review documentation for compliance with regulatory guidelines and investor requirements
• Perform preliminary eligibility screening and issue condo approval certificates or denials for final underwriting decisions

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Underwriting, specifically with condo review/underwriting
• Experience using Encompass software
• Strong understanding of federal and state guidelines
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
