Configuration Management Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Configuration Management (CM) Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and CM processes aligned to federal standards
• Establish and manage configuration baselines for ICAM systems and control changes through a formal Change Management process
• Perform configuration audits to verify system integrity and support incident response related to configuration issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in configuration management, DevOps, or systems engineering
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and managing configurations in cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
• Understanding of identity platforms and knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 CM controls
