Configuration Release Manager

Job Summary

Supporting controlled configuration and release management for a VA healthcare application upgrade, the remote Configuration Release Manager will manage configuration baselines, change control, and deployment readiness while coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead configuration, change, and release management activities for application upgrades and production releases
• Establish and maintain configuration baselines and manage release package readiness across various environments
• Prepare and maintain release-management artifacts, ensuring traceability and compliance throughout the release process

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in configuration management, release management, or related IT delivery roles
• Proven experience managing configuration baselines and coordinating controlled software releases
• Working knowledge of change control, release governance, and post-release validation processes
• Experience preparing Version Description Documents, Release Notes, and other release artifacts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
