Job Summary
Conducting thorough conflict checks for new clients and matters, the full-time Conflicts Analyst will analyze reports to identify potential conflicts of interest and collaborate with attorneys to develop resolution strategies in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive conflict checks using the firm's software for new clients, matters, and lateral hires
- Analyze conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts of interest and collaborate with attorneys to gather necessary information
- Develop and implement conflict resolution plans, including obtaining waivers and maintaining detailed records in compliance with firm policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as law, business, or finance; a Juris Doctor (JD) or paralegal certification is a plus
- Previous experience in conflict analysis, preferably within a law firm or legal department setting
- Strong understanding of legal ethics, confidentiality, and conflicts of interest rules and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review complex legal information
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
