Job Summary

A company is looking for a Confluent Kafka Platform Architect to design and govern an enterprise event streaming platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise Kafka architecture, including cluster sizing and high availability
• Implement governance standards and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory frameworks
• Set up monitoring and optimize performance for large-scale streaming workloads

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise data architecture or platform engineering roles
• 4+ years hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform in production environments
• Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture and schema management
• Expertise in security, performance tuning, and observability for Kafka clusters
• Familiarity with cloud-native deployments and Kubernetes-based Kafka operations
