Connecticut Advocacy Director

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing AJC's presence in Connecticut, the full-time salaried Associate Director will develop and execute advocacy initiatives, manage outreach programs, and build relationships with key stakeholders in the K-12 education sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement departmental strategies, goals, and action plans to advance AJC's mission
• Manage advocacy and outreach programs, including events, meetings, and trainings
• Build coalitions and partnerships with organizations to further AJC's initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in advocacy, particularly related to the Jewish community and Israel
• Proven ability to engage and communicate with influential stakeholders
• Experience in fundraising and donor engagement
• Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
