Job Summary
Focused on enhancing AJC's presence in Connecticut, the full-time salaried Associate Director will develop and execute advocacy initiatives, manage outreach programs, and build relationships with key stakeholders in the K-12 education sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement departmental strategies, goals, and action plans to advance AJC's mission
- Manage advocacy and outreach programs, including events, meetings, and trainings
- Build coalitions and partnerships with organizations to further AJC's initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in advocacy, particularly related to the Jewish community and Israel
- Proven ability to engage and communicate with influential stakeholders
- Experience in fundraising and donor engagement
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
