Connecticut and Florida Licensed Claims Examiner

Job Summary

To investigate and resolve complex liability insurance claims, the fully remote Senior Liability Claims Examiner will utilize advanced technical expertise in coverage analysis, liability determination, and claim valuation while ensuring timely and fair claim resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct liability claims investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution
• Evaluate coverage, manage timely reserving, and oversee vendor management
• Provide guidance to junior claims staff and collaborate with legal counsel on litigated matters

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Commercial & Personal Liability claims
• Prior inside adjuster experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; participation in technical coursework such as AIC or CPCU is a plus
• Connecticut and Florida licensing preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
