Job Summary

Seeking a temporary Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster licensed in Connecticut and Maine, the full-time role will adjudicate complex indemnity claims remotely, ensuring thorough investigation and resolution while reporting on claims trends and managing litigation.

Key responsibilities:

• Adjudicate higher complexity workers' compensation claims with direct impact on departmental results
• Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
• Prepare reports and negotiate settlements while managing claims in litigation

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
• Licenses required in Connecticut and Maine
• Strong claim negotiation skills and excellent business acumen
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
