Job Summary

To support patient registration processes, the full-time remote Connecticut Licensed Account Assistant will manage patient financial classifications, ensure accurate billing, and provide customer service to patients, providers, and insurance carriers.

Key responsibilities
  • Receives, classifies, and codes patient information while ensuring account records are accurate and complete
  • Obtains and provides information related to accounts and procedures, maintaining and reconciling account records
  • Reviews and posts payments, identifies errors, and composes correspondence related to problem accounts
Required qualifications
  • Four years of related work experience, including two years in a similar role, or an Associate's degree with two years of experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical insurance processing and verification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong customer service skills with experience in handling heavy telephone communication
  • Record of excellent attendance and time management skills
