Job Summary
To support Ria Health's mission in treating alcohol use disorder, the part-time Connecticut Licensed Alcohol Counselor will manage a caseload of members through virtual coaching sessions, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans based on standardized intake
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions and monitor health outcomes through various communication channels
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and revise member care plans while ensuring adherence to HIPAA standards
Required qualifications
- Certification as a Connecticut Licensed Alcohol Counselor or equivalent, recognized by IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS or MA in a related field preferred
- Experience with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
