Job Summary

Independently conducting quality control reviews, the full-time Connecticut Licensed Bench Scientist will evaluate anatomic and clinical pathology data, specimens, and reports to ensure compliance with GLP standards in Groton, CT.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control review of anatomic and clinical pathology data, specimens, slide records, and study reports
• Ensure compliance with GLP standards, pathology SOPs, EHS standards, and animal welfare regulations
• Collaborate with various teams including anatomic pathologists and clinical pathology scientists to maintain study reporting timelines

Required qualifications

• Experience in anatomic and clinical pathology quality control
• Knowledge of GLP-compliant pathology review processes
• Familiarity with histology processes and specimen evaluation
• Understanding of necropsy-related pathology
• Experience in regulatory compliance within preclinical pathology environments
