Job Summary

Providing high-level administrative and secretarial support, the full-time Connecticut Licensed Clinical Secretary will manage clinical scheduling, handle a high volume of calls and faxes, and ensure prompt service to patients and providers while working remotely from Connecticut.

Key responsibilities
  • Answers and assesses the urgency of incoming calls, directing callers to appropriate personnel as needed
  • Schedules patient appointments, resolves conflicts, and manages changes or cancellations in a timely manner
  • Maintains accurate patient records and assists with the completion of necessary forms and billing processes
Required qualifications
  • Four years of related work experience, including two years in a similar role, or an Associate degree with two years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in EPIC or similar EMR systems for scheduling and patient information management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and professional telephone etiquette
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and critical thinking in managing patient interactions
