Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Staff Electrical Engineer, the full-time position will focus on the electrical design, integration, and commissioning of complex power systems for industrial energy projects, preferably onsite in Danbury, CT, with remote options available.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical architecture for industrial power systems, including HV/MV/LV distribution and grounding
- Own utility interconnection requirements and interface with utilities, EPCs, and internal engineering teams
- Develop and review electrical design packages, including single-line diagrams and commissioning documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering for industrial power systems and utility interconnection
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE standards, and UL 508A compliance
- Experience with MV/LV power distribution and developing electrical design packages
- Hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting experience in field execution
