Job Summary
Responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of accounts, the full-time Connecticut Licensed Grant Accountant will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for sponsored research projects while working remotely within Connecticut.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting for complex portfolios, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and monitor adherence to regulations for all financial activities within the portfolio
- Manage proposal activities, including submission and oversight of sponsor documents for assigned portfolios
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Four years of relevant financial experience
- Demonstrated understanding of financial, accounting, and economic concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- Experience with Grants & Contract Administration preferred
