Connecticut Licensed Grant Accountant

Job Summary

Responsible for financial management and oversight of a portfolio of accounts, the full-time Connecticut Licensed Grant Accountant will provide financial expertise for sponsored research projects, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance, while working remotely from Connecticut.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support complex portfolios and strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations while managing expenditures and maintaining fiscal integrity
• Oversee proposal management and provide strategic direction for managing sponsored awards and collaborations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• A minimum of four years of relevant financial experience
• Demonstrated understanding of financial, accounting, and economic concepts
• Proficiency in financial analysis and data mining, particularly with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in Grants & Contract Administration and familiarity with financial tools and reports
