Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Technician - Remote US.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume prior authorization requests and analyze claims information
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical determinations for the Connecticut Medicaid program
• Utilize pharmacy software systems and electronic documentation tools effectively

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician License issued by any U.S. state (CPhT preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in retail pharmacy or similar high-volume pharmacy settings
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare Part D, or state pharmaceutical programs
• 2+ years of customer service or pharmacy support experience
• Experience managing shared Outlook mailboxes or workflow queues
