Connecticut Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To support a growing long-term care pharmacy, the fully remote Connecticut Licensed Pharmacy Technician will enter new and refill orders, adjudicate insurance claims, and manage order exceptions while working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM EST.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately enter new or renewed medication orders and handle order exceptions
- Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve any rejections
- Communicate effectively with leadership and peers to meet productivity standards
Required qualifications
- Must possess a Connecticut State License or PTCB License
- Minimum one year of experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; three years preferred
- Experience with FrameworkLTC is preferred
- Ability to type an average of 60 words per minute
- Understanding of basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions
