Connecticut Licensed Physician President

Job Summary

To support the establishment of physician-owned professional corporations, the part-time Connecticut Licensed Physician President will provide clinical governance, oversee regulatory compliance, and manage professional supervision of an NP-led care model serving skilled nursing and home health patients remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as sole (or majority) shareholder and President of state-specific professional corporations
• Approve clinical protocols and quality standards for NP-delivered care
• Oversee credentialing, peer review, and clinical quality committees

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license; willingness to obtain licensure in additional target states
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred
• Current Medicare enrollment with no revocations or payment suspensions
• Experience supervising NPs or serving as Medical Director in relevant healthcare settings
