Offering a flexible remote opportunity, the Board Certified Physician Reviewer in PM&R/Pain Management will assess the medical necessity of treatment requests and appeals while managing a customizable caseload on a contract basis with a Connecticut license.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate medical necessity for treatment requests and appeals within a specified turnaround time
• Complete reviews efficiently, typically spending 15-20 minutes per case
• Utilize a user-friendly work portal for streamlined case flow and administrative support

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Connecticut Medical License
• Active practice in PM&R/Pain Management
• Board Certified in PM&R/Pain Management
