Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time, remote Podiatry Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical charts and assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes for podiatry visits
• Code clinic podiatry visits and nursing home visits while maintaining a 48-hour turnaround time
• Utilize the Thrive platform for documentation and billing related to outpatient clinic visits

Required Qualifications

• Current CPC or equivalent credential through the AAPC or AHIMA
• Minimum of 3 years of E/M coding experience in podiatry
• Experience coding nursing home rounds, pre-op physicals, and CDL physicals
• Ability to work 5-10 hours per week
