Job Summary

A company is looking for a Professional Fee Multi Specialty Coder (temp).

Key Responsibilities

• Review provider-submitted coding in EPIC against documentation and recommend necessary coding changes
• Address claim edits and denials by analyzing submitted coding and suggesting corrections
• Provide feedback to orthopedic providers regarding coding guidelines and compliance

Required Qualifications and Education

• Current CPC or equivalent certification through AAPC or AHIMA required
• Minimum of five years of experience with professional fee hospital coding
• Ability to maintain a quality score of 95% or greater in coding accuracy
• EPIC experience preferred
• Comfortable using technology such as MS Office and Teams
