Connecticut Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual psychiatry practice, the full-time Connecticut Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide remote outpatient psychiatric care to lower to moderate acuity populations, managing patient evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management with minimal administrative burden.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans for outpatient care
• Maintain control over schedule and session structure while providing clinical autonomy
• Utilize an integrated care model with in-house referral networks to enhance patient care

Required qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority in Connecticut
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Experience in delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including medication management
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records for accurate documentation
