Job Summary
To support individuals in reducing or eliminating alcohol use, the part-time Connecticut Licensed Recovery Coach will provide coaching and education through virtual sessions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and utilize technology platforms to monitor member progress and outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans in collaboration with medical staff
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions via video/phone calls and app-based communication
- Manage a caseload of members, monitoring health outcomes and coordinating care services
Required qualifications
- Certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, recognized by IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS and/or MA preferred, with a background in addiction treatment or related fields
- Experience with EMR systems and telehealth technologies
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
