Connecticut Licensed Reproductive Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support high-quality mental health care for women, the part-time Connecticut Licensed Reproductive Psychiatrist will provide clinical consultation and mentorship to nurse practitioners, focusing on complex case consultations and psychopharmacology specific to reproductive life stages in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical consultation and mentorship to a panel of nurse practitioners with a combined capacity of up to 7.0 FTE
• Host regular group case consultation sessions to discuss complex or higher-acuity cases
• Offer ad hoc consultation on psychopharmacologic questions related to reproductive psychiatry

Required qualifications

• MD or DO, board-certified in Psychiatry; additional training in reproductive/perinatal psychiatry preferred
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Connecticut
• Clinical experience treating perinatal, postpartum, and peri/menopause-related mood and anxiety disorders
• Comfort with a fully remote consultation model
• Prior experience supervising or collaborating with PMHNPs strongly preferred
