Job Summary
To support high-quality mental health care for women, the part-time Connecticut Licensed Reproductive Psychiatrist will provide clinical consultation and mentorship to nurse practitioners, focusing on complex case consultations and psychopharmacology specific to reproductive life stages in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultation and mentorship to a panel of nurse practitioners with a combined capacity of up to 7.0 FTE
- Host regular group case consultation sessions to discuss complex or higher-acuity cases
- Offer ad hoc consultation on psychopharmacologic questions related to reproductive psychiatry
Required qualifications
- MD or DO, board-certified in Psychiatry; additional training in reproductive/perinatal psychiatry preferred
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Connecticut
- Clinical experience treating perinatal, postpartum, and peri/menopause-related mood and anxiety disorders
- Comfort with a fully remote consultation model
- Prior experience supervising or collaborating with PMHNPs strongly preferred
