Job Summary

Connecticut Licensed Scheduler, this full-time remote position involves managing clinical ambulatory scheduling requests for providers using the EPIC system while ensuring excellent customer service to patients and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess urgency of calls and provide assistance or direct callers appropriately
  • Build and modify provider schedules and manage patient appointment scheduling, including handling cancellations and rescheduling
  • Coordinate departmental meetings and maintain accurate patient records and statistical data
Required Qualifications
  • Four years of related work experience, with two years in the same job family, or an Associate degree with two years of related experience
  • Proven experience in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Demonstrated record of exemplary attendance and reliability
