Job Summary
Connecticut Licensed Scheduler, this full-time remote position involves managing clinical ambulatory scheduling requests for providers using the EPIC system while ensuring excellent customer service to patients and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess urgency of calls and provide assistance or direct callers appropriately
- Build and modify provider schedules and manage patient appointment scheduling, including handling cancellations and rescheduling
- Coordinate departmental meetings and maintain accurate patient records and statistical data
Required Qualifications
- Four years of related work experience, with two years in the same job family, or an Associate degree with two years of related experience
- Proven experience in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical record systems
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrated record of exemplary attendance and reliability
